One of the most anticipated events on the Badminton Estate calendar is the Spring Garden Open Day. Set against the backdrop of manicured lawns and blooming flowerbeds, this event promises a day of sensory delights for nature enthusiasts and gardening aficionados alike. Visitors can explore the estate’s meticulously curated gardens, showcasing a kaleidoscope of colours with the emergence of daffodils, tulips, and cherry blossoms. Our Head Gardeners will be on hand to share their knowledge and offer gardening tips, making it a perfect outing for those looking to kickstart their own springtime garden transformations.

Join local conservationist, Steve England, on an enchanting Dawn Chorus Walk through Badminton Estate starting at Worcester Lodge, where the symphony of birdsong heralds the arrival of a new day. Tune your ears to the melodious ‘love’ songs and calls of woodland and garden birds, expertly guided by Steve. Whether you’re a seasoned enthusiast or simply appreciate the wonders of nature, this dawn chorus promises to be a symphony for the soul, ending with a hot drink and breakfast pastry at Worcester Lodge.

Experience an unforgettable tasting of classic single malt Scotch whiskies at Badminton House, whether you’re a seasoned aficionado or a newcomer to the world of whisky. Delight in six carefully selected drams, each representing distinct flavour profiles from various regions of Scotland, expertly paired with Scottish smoked salmon, cured meats, and exquisite cheeses. Throughout the evening, immerse yourself in the rich history of Scotch and its journey from field to table, with ample opportunity to ask all your burning whisky-related questions. Led by David Wood, a whisky connoisseur with over three decades of experience, including managing iconic distilleries on the West Coast of Scotland, this event promises an insightful and delicious exploration into the world of Scotch whisky.
