This year, Badminton Estate has had the pleasure of supporting our local community by working with eight incredible charities, as well as our two local schools. Throughout 2025, we hosted a variety of charity events at the estate, including Horatio’s Garden Event, The Bolt Race, NGS Day, a Motor Neurone Disease charity walk, and a Lighthouse Dementia Support day. By providing event spaces and offering private hire opportunities, we were able to facilitate auctions, fundraising activities, and community support initiatives.
The charities we were proud to support this year include:
- Severn Rescue Association (SARA)
- Badminton Church Restoration Fund
- National Garden Scheme
- Horatio’s Garden
- Royal United Hospitals Bath
- Motor Neurone Disease Association
- Haven House Children’s Hospice
- Lighthouse Dementia Support
Through ticket sales, community participation, and generous donations, we were able to raise significant funds for these causes. Our annual Bolt Race, hosted in the Deer Park, raised an incredible £10,700 for Trinity Church of England Primary School and Acton Turville Primary School, helping to support vital school programs and activities.
These events are more than just fundraising—they are an opportunity for our community to come together, celebrate, and make a real difference in the lives of others. We are proud to provide our estate as a space where people can enjoy beautiful surroundings while supporting meaningful causes.
In addition, our Open Garden Day contributed £2,000 to the Severn Rescue Association (SARA) and also supported our local school, Sara. Visitors to our Open Garden café helped raise over £1,000 for Luckington School through sales on the day.
We look forward to continuing this important work in 2026, strengthening our community ties, and supporting even more charitable initiatives. Our commitment to giving back remains at the heart of everything we do, and we are grateful to everyone who has joined us in making a positive impact this year.
