We are pleased to announce the return of The Bolt at the Badminton Estate for its fourth year. We warmly invite runners and walkers of all abilities to take part in this much-loved community event. In addition to the established 5K and 10K races, this year introduces a new 1.5K distance, designed for those who may not yet feel ready to undertake a 5K.
The event is organised by the Friends of Trinity C of E Primary School, a parent-run charity supporting Trinity C of E Primary School in Acton Turville, South Gloucestershire. All proceeds from the event will go directly towards funding essential equipment and resources for the school.
The Estate provides a wonderful setting for participants to come together in support of a worthy cause, whether aiming to achieve a personal best or simply to enjoy completing the course. All registered entrants will receive a race bib displaying their race number, along with a timing chip.
To add to the enjoyment for younger participants, a parent dressed as “The Bolt” will be present on the course to offer encouragement. Please note that children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by a paying adult. Young children accompanying adults in pushchairs or buggies may attend free of charge and do not require a separate entry.
Refreshments will be available on the day, including a BBQ serving hot food — the perfect way to refuel after the race.
