Badminton House is back on screen this September, once again taking on the role of Halstead Manor in the second season of Netflix’s hit comedy thriller The Gentlemen.

About The Gentlemen
Created by Guy Ritchie, The Gentlemen follows aristocrat Eddie Halstead as he navigates the unexpected inheritance of an estate at the centre of a criminal empire.
Badminton House first appeared as Halstead Manor in Season 1, becoming an instantly recognisable setting for fans of the series. In particular, fans of Season 1 may remember the memorable “chicken scene” involving Freddie Horniman, played by Daniel Ings, which was filmed on the East Front of the House.
Following the success of the first season, Badminton Estate was once again selected as a key filming location. Both the House and wider Estate throughout the second season, showcasing Badminton’s striking architecture, historic interiors and sweeping parkland.
Filming at Badminton Estate
The production team returned to Badminton during June and July 2025, bringing an impressive array of specialist vehicles and equipment to the Estate, including a fleet of luxury sports cars and a helicopter.
Filming took place across a number of locations around the Estate, including:
- North Front of the House
- East Front of the House
- North Hall
- East Room
- St Michaels and All Angels Church
- Garages
- Estate parkland
In addition, Badminton Estate’s red deer herd also makes an appearance in the new season and trailer.
Cast
A number of familiar faces returned for the second season, including Theo James, Kaya Scodelario, Vinnie Jones, Joely Richardson and Jasmine Blackborow. Alongside new cast members Maya Jama and Aram Malassian.
The filming also gave some of the Badminton team and their dogs the opportunity to get involved. As a result, several members of the Estate staff appear as extras in the series.
Visit Halstead Manor
While Badminton House remains a private family home, members of the public will have the opportunity to visit the Estate’s private gardens at the Late Summer Open Garden Day this Sunday 6 September 2026.
The final Open Garden Day of the year will give visitors the chance to explore the gardens, which are only open to the public on selected dates each year. In addition, fans of The Gentlemen will be able to spot several of the exterior locations featured in the series.
