The Bolt Race 2025 – A Fantastic Day at Badminton Estate
On 17th May 2025, we were delighted to once again welcome The Bolt Race back to Badminton Estate for its third consecutive year. This brilliant community event featured running races of 5K to 10K, set along a picturesque route through the estate. The course winds its way through our beautiful parkland, passing through Deer Park and alongside the historic Badminton House, offering a truly stunning backdrop for runners of all ages and abilities.
The event is organised by the Friends of Trinity C of E Primary, a parent-led charity supporting Trinity Church of England Primary School in Acton Turville, South Gloucestershire. The event raises vital funds for new equipment and resources that directly benefit the pupils. We are proud to support this fantastic cause to provide the space for an event that combines fitness, fun, and fundraising.
The day was packed with activities for the whole family, making it much more than just a race. Attendees enjoyed a high energy warm up led by The Gym Group, Yate, as well as archery, body zorbing, delicious homemade cake sale, refreshments, a sizzling BBQ, and a raffle with incredible prizes generously donated by local businesses and sponsors.
This year’s event was a huge success, welcoming 350 runners and raising an amazing £9,846 for the school!
We would like to say a huge thank you and congratulations to George and Karen, the lead organisers this year, along with all the dedicated parents and volunteers who worked so hard behind the scenes. Your efforts made the day unforgettable. And finally, a big well done to everyone who took part whether you ran, walked, helped, or cheered, you made a real difference to a great cause.
