The Badminton Estate’s extraordinary and unique hunting lodge lies on the edge of the Beaufort family’s historic estate. This wonderful, architectural folly was built in the early 1700s from local Cotswold stone, incorporating gables, distinctive roof castellations and pepper pots.
Swangrove House rises over three floors, connected by an original, dark oak staircase with two reception rooms – one a breathtakingly beautiful drawing room – and two sumptuous bedrooms with distinctive beds. At the top of the house sits the belvedere, with a superbly commanding view of the Badminton Estate and countryside beyond.
The house’s 300-year-old history is perfectly complemented by a contemporary kitchen and bathrooms. A pretty garden with a lawn and clipped hedges sits to the front while parking for up to four cars is at the rear on a sweeping gravel drive.

GUEST REVIEWs
What a treat, the pictures do it no justice. The house has everything you need and is lovely and warm with two fabulous fireplaces for cold days.
