Botanical Monoprinting – 24th September

Explore this simple, playful and spontaneous method of printing with leaves and flowers in this fun and addictive form of printing. You will leave with your own set of unique prints ready to frame.

Kathy will guide you through the process of creating images by building up multiple layers of colour & texture, manipulating ink & combining cut stencils & found objects.

You will get to try four different mono-printing techniques and have plenty of time to play with these methods and develop your own prints.

All suitable botanical pieces will be provided for you to print with and you’ll be shown what to look for in finding other elements that produce a fantastic print.

The unique properties of this type of printing allows you to capture tiny details in surface texture giving beautiful designs. The possibilities are endless and you are guaranteed to get surprising and stunning results.

Absolutely no experience is needed and the class is suitable for ages 10+. Refreshments will be served.
